The press identifies him as a devoted family man who was "mistakenly" deported to El Salvador to be imprisoned in a notorious prison that houses the worse of the worse gang bangers . Gee he is husband and father of the year ; a regular church going soccer dad.
The Trump administration identifies him as a deportable member of the El Salvador MS 13 gang .
Here is his Prince George County file when he was denied bond. The judge said the facts that he is a gangbanger “appears to be trustworthy and is supported” by evidence from the Gang Field Interview Sheet
Kilmer Abrego Garcia Documents
It identifies him as Abrego Garcia . His MS13 name is 'Chequero' . His street name was “Chele.”
He entered the US in 2011 . He did not request asylum until 2019 after he was picked up .
DOJ in 2019 determined he was deportable because he entered the US illegally and was an MS13 gang member.
This 'family man' twice had restraining orders to protect his wife Jennifer from beatings she received from him.
Bill Melugin on X: "NEW: @FoxNews has obtained the written domestic violence allegations from Kilmar Abrego Garcia’s wife in 2021, in which she alleges he is a repeat wife beater & writes “At this point, I am afraid to be close to him. I have multiple photos/videos of how violent he can be and all https://t.co/s7yCji9jjq" / XQuote:
In her own handwriting, she alleges that Abrego Garcia punched and scratched her on her eye, leaving her bleeding after throwing her laptop on the floor. She writes that on another day, he got angry again, started yelling, and ripped her shirt and shorts off, then grabbed her arm, leaving marks. She also writes that in two times in 2020, he hit her. "In November 2020, he hit me with his work boot"."In August 2020, hit me in the eye leaving a purple eye."
She has since defended him .
He was granted a 'withholding of removal' by a judge because the DOJ
dropped the ball and said he would be in danger if he was returned to El Salvador because the Barrio 18 gang was targeting him and threatening him. The immigration judge found the evidence presented credible .
So what would happen if after all the court proceedings he was returned to the US ?
A White House lawyer said in filings that the deportation was a mistake .
gov.uscourts.mdd.578815.11.0.pdf
That means that he had a valid deportation order .
You see ;he could've been deported to any other country . The withhold of removal only applied to being returned to El Salvador. Makes sense ;a gangbanger probably does have reason to fear violence from another gang.
If he is ever returned to the US then no doubt the administration would revoke the withhold.
Further ;Trump has declared MS13 a terrorist group so the ruling may be void .
There may very well be innocents caught in the net of the deportation campaign . He is not one of them.
