The final pardons he gave beg the question. What does Joe know about the crimes these people committed ? They are all of the blanket pardon variety he gave to Hunter for crimes they may have committed .

He issued pardons for retired Gen. Mark Milley, Herr Doctor Fauci and members and staff of the Jan 6.Kangaroo Court ,as well as police officers who testified before the committee.

There are no legitimate questions . Fauci lied and sold out to the Chinese who are responsible for the death of more than a million people when they unleashed covid .

I don't think Miley betrayed the country when he privately communicated with the Chinese military command assuring them that the US would not attack them . This pardon probably does not end the controversy .But Miley is retired . This may prevent a post retirement court marshal that Miley would have been cleared of charges anyway. .

There is no doubt that Liz Cheney coached key witness Cassidy Hutchinson and maybe went so far as to suborn perjury . Other members of the Kangaroo Court may have also done criminal acts . Regardless of pardons the investigations of the conduct of the Impeachment committee should proceed. The same with the Biden crime family . We need the whole truth of this most corrupt regime in US history .

The good news is that Congress can still do their investigations and the people pardoned cannot use the 5th amendment as a dodge ........ and if they lie under oath the immunity doesn't cover new crimes .

Fauci is very vulnerable. Senators Rand Paul and Ron Johnson have knives out.

Question 1 . Have you lied in any previous testimony to Congress ? He can deny it ,but it is clear that after the US banned gain of function research in 2014 ;Herr Doctor Fauci outsource the research to the Chinese using US funds.

I would also question him about bio-labs in Ukraine. Under the guise of reducing the threat of bioweapons ;the US funded 46 labs in the country .

Tom, how can Biden just hand out these blanket pardons to people who are not even formally accused of a crime? What if one of them turns out to be a murderer? Are they off the hook for that now?

The power to pardon is unlimited for Federal Crimes

Pelosi was not pardoned .

Pardons for crimes not committed has not been tested in court but Ford giving Nixon a blanket pardon set the precedent.

The pardon is only from the specified time to the day of the pardon. If a pardoned person then murders the pardon does not apply for that act.

I believe that the J6s are not off the hook yet. Some state prosecutor are going to go over the cases with a fine tooth comb looking for state violations.
If they can find charges that don't fall into double jeopardy status I believe they will proceed .

But Biden's pardons, as I understand them, are just open-ended. They do not specify a crime, do they? And if that is the case, wouldn't it be the ultimate "get out of jail free" card?

There aren't many links to reference but No ;pardons cannot apply to future crimes that someone has not yet committed.

Good Question: Do pardons apply to crimes committed after the pardon was issued?

I think the broad power to issue blanket pardons should be challenged in court . The pardon should reference the crime.
