Look it up in your user's guide under troubleshooting, if there is nothing cut the circuit breaker for up to 20 minutes and reset. If this doesn't work... call a technician... sorry to say but "samsung" is not the best brand. Good luck

Thanks for your response, but I have actually done the things outlined in the manual with no luck!

If I may ask What's a circuit breaker, sorry am totally ignorant of this, Im a nurse!

Also just to say that when I moved the washer, I notice a grey like rectangualr shaped piece of rubber with 2 round and a u shaped holes which I think I found the spot it fell from underneath the washer, but still did not work.

Tell me a c. breaker is so I can try that before a call a tech

    Thanks

Then check to see if your drain is clogged, sometimes that will cause a "de" message. Otherwise you can call GE and ask for technical advise. I think their number is 800-361-3400

    Hi There,

I just came across this error too, and discovered that the magnet on the underside of the lid had come loose and was not registering that the lid had closed. I taped the magnet back into the slot and all worked out fine.

    Hope this helps
    Cheers from NZ.
