Walz lived in China and returned dozens of times over the course of his life as a teacher and politician.

Walz and his wife ran a company that brought US students to China.

Unless I hear something different I'm inclined to give him a pass. In Congress he was critical of Beijing and supportive of Taiwan. He also compares to Chinese visitors the Tiananmen Square massacre to the massacre at Wounded Knee.

He was married on the Tiananmen Square massacre anniversary as a tribute to the victims .

Walz and wife Gwenn honeymooned in China and got married on the fifth anniversary of the end of the Tiananmen protests,
Walz has visited China, by his memory, roughly 30 times.

He taught in China according to his 2006 campaign literature.

1993, Walz organized a trip to the PRC for his Alliance High School students; the costs for the trip were paid in part by the Chinese government.
He and his wife later started a for profit company to help students travel to China. The company was shut down by the State of Nebraska for failure to pay taxes. Still Walz continued to organize trips.

Walz worked to secure millions for the Hormel Institute in Austin, Minnesota, a lab that worked on a variety of projects with China’s Wuhan Institute of Virology.

The Wuhan Institute of Virology operates under the Chinese Academy of Sciences, which reports directly to the Chinese Communist Party’s State Council. It also gave us covid and then covered up the source of the virus.

Hormel also works with the Beijing Genomics Institute, which the Department of Defenses has designated a “Chinese military company"

For these reasons the House Oversight Committee has asked the FBI for records of their investigations into Walz China connection. The FBI is stonewalling .
