The question no longer is who will win the November election. The question is ;who will run the country until Jan 20 ? This isn't me . This isn't conservative media . This is Dem pompom waiving compliant press' reaction to Joe's debate performance.

They have been lying to us about the President for a long time. That fact is no longer deniable .
Shame on his enablers who even now pretend otherwise. Post debate Jill walked him off the stage like an adult would assist their elder parents down the steps. Then she praised him as a parent would praise and elementary school child for getting a gold star on a homework assignment . He every way looked like a child proud of himself .

They let this go on so long now that it is almost impossible to remove him from the ballot . All 50 states have held their primary . He has locked up many more delegates than is needed to have the majority going into the Dem convention. In fact he has almost all the delegates committed to him. It's a lock .
To remove him ;he would have to be persuaded to drop out.
Joe's political machine chose the DNC chair and vice chair. The rules won't change.
Every major potential replacement (except Madame Defarge Michelle Obama) have actively stumped for him on the campaign trail . And not any of them have a compelling interest to let any of the others walk in and replace him without a challenge. Is Kam the Sham going to allow Gavin Newsom replace Joe without a fight ?
Besides ;that is secondary to the real concern. Can Joe competently lead the nation for the next 7 months ???????
Can section 4 of the 25th amendment be invoked ? To put it simply ;yes BUT it is a very complex procedure

Short answer ;
At most, it allows the vice president to become the "acting" president during the president's disability. Note the section allows the president to decide when he can resume his duties. In that case if the VP AND THE CABINET still think he can't do the job then Congress has 21 days to make a 2/3 vote of both houses of Congress to say he can't do the job. Then the VP resumes the roll of ACTING President .
There's no limit on how many times the president can "declare" his return and force this procedure again .
The constitution is clear .The only way to remove a President who refuses to resign is impeachment.
