    Trying to get pregnant.
Well... I read a lot of posts just to help my days goes by a lot faster at work, beacsue all I do is answer the phone, and I'm stuck in this little room all by myself...

But my QUESTION is, and I'm probably not going to get a definite answer for this, because it's really a give and take question... but I was wondering if it's possible for a person to KNOW they're pregnant within a couple weeks of trying for a baby, without having missed their period yet..

My fiancé and I have been trying for a baby for the last two months, though we were doing everything wrong last month, but this month we've done evrything we could possbly do to get pregnant.. waiting some time after my last period, not having sex every day, and doing the whole elevation thing, staying elevated for like 20 minuites at least afterwards... and I'm not sure if it's just hope, or the fact that I really feel like I'm pregnant... but I've been taking the prenatals and everything... the worst part is that no one really knows we're trying to get pregnant, but we both want it, and we're getting married in 2 months, so I won't be huge or anything if I do fall pregnant...
Maybe the worst part is the waiting... I'm no a very patient person so it's even worse.

You need to learn patience and learn how to relax and let things happen at the right time or it will never happen for you.

Each time my wife got pregnant it took 6 months, but each time when we were getting disappointed and worried. Once we just let go and have fun, then guess what happened.

85 percent of couples. Normal healthy couples it takes at least up to a year to get pregnant.

You have the wrong attitiude about you doing the wrong things last month. This is about loving your partner, making love to your partner because you love your partner, that is it.

You're absolutely right. I'm not saying we're overly exerting our efforts and trying that h'ard.. just being causious like staying away from the second hand smoke, no drinking, no caffeine, etc... and it's all about the love. :p

I completely agree that trying for a child should be about having fun and loving your partner. My husband and I tried for 6 months before we conceived and we didn't use any ovulation predictor kits or chart my temp. We just had fun! I do believe that some women "just know" when they are pregnant. I was not one of those women. I was 10 days late for my period, but was still telling myself there was no way I was pregnant, that is until I finally got a positive. Just take your time and enjoy being with your partner. As soon as you get pregnant it will no longer be about just you and him. You may appreciate the time you get to spend together alone more than you thought you would!

I agree. I'm relaxed about it. I'm just going to be jumping off the walls when I get a positive. Haha.

It took us nine months to get pregnant. Just be patient.
