Remember this scene from 'Moscow on the Hudson ' when the Russian defector went to the grocery store and was overwhelmed by the choices of coffee he could purchase ?

I never imagined that having too many choices was a problem . But evidently it is to Adam Fleming Petty of 'The Atlantic' .
On a recent afternoon, while running errands before I had to pick up my kids from school, I froze in the orange-juice aisle of a big-box store. So many different brands lay before me: Minute Maid, Simply, Tropicana, Dole, Florida’s Natural, Sunny D — not to mention the niche organic labels. And each brand offered juices with various configurations of pulp, vitamins, and concentrate. The sheer plenitude induced a kind of paralysis: Overwhelmed by the choices on offer, I simply could not make one. I left the store without any orange juice.Quote:

He writes that he prefers stores with less option like Trader Joe's . Guess what Adam .....That too is a choice. That's what free market capitalism is all about . But he prefers state mandate communism where consumers are told what they can buy when it is actually available.
He admits that his niche grocery stores sometimes don't have what he wants. What to do ? Go to those big grocery stores that have many choices is one option. Or he could settle for something else or to do without. That happens often in communism.

The thing about Bolshevik Bernie is that he would force all of us to live under such a system because he claims the moral authority as stupid as he sounds ( too many deodorant choices are why people go hungry.)
It is his choice to go to a store with limited choices . The problem is that he would limit everyone elses choices too.
