Can't speak for the other 49 states, but in Mississippi, books are still the norm. Computers are used some, but more for assessment or reinforcement than for instruction.

SCOTUS is hearing an appeal by TikTok and its Chinese owner ByteDance . They will decide if 'Foreign Adversary Controlled Applications Act' is a constitutional violation of the 1st Amendment free speech clause.

Nonsense ! Trump was not President when the law was passed. If anything the law strengthens the President's power to deal with national security threats . If another platform like TikTok becomes a similar threat ;the law is precedence . But even if there were no other threat ;TikTok is a specific threat because by law they must turn over users info to the CCP .
There is also significant evidence that China uses their algorithms to conduct cyberwar on the US.

The issue is not the 1st amendment because the law doesn't discriminate about content . It is the national security concerns of having an enemy of the country controlling a social media platform.
