Durham beginning to identify the compliant press
Special council John Durham has obtained hundreds of emails between the Evita campaign and the compliant press. These emails contained what Durham says "triggered a sizeable outflow of unverified derogatory information into the media, the government, and the public about Donald Trump, that the compliant press dutifully reported to create the false Russia collusion narrative. He has now filed them in court.

    Microsoft Word - Prilieve-Motion-Reply-8.docx (justthenews.com)

In a novel use of legal Jui jitsu ; the defense claims that these falsehoods and slanders were funneled to the press by people legally representing Evita ;that the content should fall under" attorney-client privilege" ;"that Fusion GPS’s political opposition research – which triggered a sizeable outflow of unverified derogatory information into the media, the government, and the public – was, in reality, confidential expert work intended to support legal advice regarding libel and defamation.

Durham correctly points out that since the campaign distributed the lies to 3rd party press that they already made the lies public.
The conspirators in the press knew it was lies but continued to report them as fact for 2 years after the 2016 election when Mueller himself found no grounds to the lies.

They are still engaging in a cover up by not reporting in any great detail the findings of the Durham investigation.

This latest filing details several contacts between Evita's campaign ,Fusion GPS and the compliant press like the Slimes, ABC News ,and lib mouthpiece Slate Magazine. (pages 9-11 in the link provided )

They later included the Wall Street Journal .

Durham details how the Evita campaign then directed the press to public officals to get reaction to keep the story going .They urged a WSJ reporter to "call [a named U.S. Representative] or [a named U.S. Senator]," stating, "I bet they are concerned about what [Trump Advisor-1] was doing other than giving a speech over 3 days in Moscow."

Durham is showing convincingly that the compliant press , the Dem and swamp establishment along with some high ranking elements in U.S intelligence worked together to perpetrate the false Russia story in 2016 .These were the same forces that got together 4 years later to brand the Hunter Biden laptop as nothing but Russian disinformation.

The hundreds of emails demonstrate that not only Fusion GPS was feeding the stories to the compliant press, but they were correcting; editing, and doing copy writing for reporters who were getting Pulitzer Prizes for their work. These reporters and paper editors knew that Fusion GPS was linked to the Evita campaign and still they went ahead with advancing the false narrative. The truth is out there for all to see; anyone can do a net search and find these false reports, and still the publications and reporters don't apologize, or print corrections.

Given that ,why should we believe anything they publish about the upcoming Russia gate trials ?

What I have been saying for years here ,that the compliant press is just the propaganda wing of the DNC and the radical left has been exposed by John Durham.
Previously I was only able the piece this together like an intricate jig saw puzzle relying on the few (mostly now censored ) commentators ,honest reporters (like Lee Smith Amazon - The Plot Against the President: The True Story of How Congressman Devin Nunes Uncovered the Biggest Political Scandal in U.S. History: Smith, Lee: 9781546085027: Books

,and public officials like Devin Nunes ;now boss at Truth media The TRUTH is out there... (askmehelpdesk.com)

who were willing to stick their necks out to reveal the truth.

What is sad is that the American people seem largely to yawn and then go on about their business. And committed liberal dems see no problems here at all, in the same way that they are unconcerned about the Disinformation Ministry. But I suppose that once a country learns to live with abortion for any reason at any time, then practically everything else becomes considerably less than a big deal.

What is also sad is that the atmosphere has become so toxic against Russia in US politics that the only considered outcome is now total defeat of Russia . Public leaders like Trump who dare to suggest a negotiated settlement could be reached are branded stooges ,and Putin hirelings . We will fight Russia to the last Ukrainian.

Putin doesn't want a negotiated settlement! He wants Ukraine et al. and the eventual reestablishment of the U.S.S.R.

How would you know ? And even if that is true ;there is a difference between desired outcome and accepted outcome .

His braggadocio about the threat of using nukes is a classic case of escalate to deescalate . But if his bluff is called and there is no way out ;he will use them .

During the Cuban crisis we went to the brink. A settlement was reached against a crazier Russian leader than Putin is .Russia removed nukes from Cuba and we removed nukes from Turkey .

As I have mentioned in the past ,right or wrong ,NATO expansion to Russia's borders played a key role in their current policies . He saw the Warsaw pact as the very buffer against NATO's expansion . We call NATO peaceful . Was NATO peaceful in Serbia ? Was NATO peaceful in Libya ? Or did Evita boast "we came ,we saw ,he died "

What do you see as a "victory " against Putin that does not involve giving him a death sentence ? Western leaders have called him a war criminal and have called for regime change . It is the West that is tossing the 'unconditional surrender' language around .

If Putin wanted a negotiated settlement, he would have said so by now!

How many civilian deaths would a leader need to be responsible for in order to be branded and treated as a war criminal?

I see your point about a negotiated settlement, but if it includes territorial gains, and it likely would, then wouldn't that serve as an impetus for other rogue leaders to do likewise?

So we are talking total victory then ? Be prepared for weapons to drop that have not been used yet . Ukraine can't win this war without direct NATO intervention .

What the press is not telling you is that in phase 2 Russia is achieving it's objective as I described in March and in even earlier postings .

    The end of Putin? (askmehelpdesk.com)

Why does Clueless want a war with Russia ? (askmehelpdesk.com)

It is not the quick surgical victory we pretend to believe we achieve . The battle for Donbas has been brutal ; more resembled early 20th century warfare . (we raised little objection when Russia adopted said strategies in Grozny Chechnya or in Syria when we punted security to Russia ) Russia has used the meat grinder and is slowly winning the battle of Donbas .Mariupol will fall soon and the Ukraine forces east of the Dnipro river have been largely cut off.
Somewhere in the next 2 weeks I predict peace talks will initiate with Russia's aims being largely a fait accompli .

The question is how does NATO and Ukraine define win ? As noted in other posts Zelinski has already put territory concessions and ending Ukraine's ambition of joining NATO on the table for negotiations . What does NATO and the US want ? General Miley says what is at stake is the "international security order " established after WWII ? What does that mean ? The UN ? a broken institution . NATO "defense " ? After the Cold War Nato became expansionist .
What he really means is US guarantees of the world peace. If I am correct ;I don't think or believe we have the means or the desire to be the world peace guarantor .

Did you not read what I wrote ? The primary reason was to over throw a government that was seeking to join NATO .Personally I don't believe he would have followed through until Clueless signaled to him during his incoherent rambling statement on January 19 that if Putin did a "minor incursion " that our response would be equally "muted "

This came right after our disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan . Clueless showed feckless weakness.

Words coming from Presidents and senior U.S. officials matter . 2 examples Truman's Sec State Dean Acheson gave a speech that outlines America's interests in Asia . He mentioned Japan, its island chain extending southward (including Okinawa), and the Philippines. He failed to mention South Korea . North Korea took that as a signal that an invasion south would not provoke an American response.
    1990
US ambassador to Iraq April Gilespie said to Saddam that the US has "no opinion on the Arab-Arab conflicts, like your border disagreement with Kuwait." He took that as a signal that the US was ok with him invading Kuwait .

Putin was goaded into invading by an American President who wanted this war . Putin blundered by taking Clueless' signals that the US and NATO's reactions would be muted . Putin has been called a war criminal and Clueless has called for Putin's removal . Sen Graham called for his assassination.

Putin saw the war an inevitable . For 4 years the Democrats and Republican war hawks have wanted this war to retaliate for the false narrative that Putin used Trump as a Manchurian candidate . As I mentioned there have even been war hawks in Washington like the late John McCain that have wanted a show down with Russia since the fall of the Soviet Union.

It does seem clear that a negotiated settlement of some sort is the best Ukraine can hope for. They seem unlikely to win militarily, and their country is being steadily reduced to piles of rubble. The sooner they get the best that can be hoped for, then the better off they will be. I suppose it is just a nauseating truth of current history.

if it is any solace ;I don't know what is real. I'm used to reporters being on the ground giving live updates . I'm not used to politicians waltzing into war zones ;no body armor ,weaing high heals and getting photo ops before taking a train back . In Baghdad and Kabul US politicians snuck in and out and were dressed with the best body armor available. Seems all the news is heavily filtered before reaching us . Even social media has been heavily censored. I find very few posts by people with alt views. That makes me suspicious . It is almost like watching a reality tv episode

Somewhat startling admission by Jake Tapper of CNN.

    Quote:

"The report is now here, it has dropped, and it might not have produced everything of what some Republicans hoped for, [but] it is regardless devastating to the FBI and to a degree, it does exonerate Donald Trump," the CNN host said.
