Whoopi Goldberg explained that the Holocaust wasn't about race because these were "two groups of white people" She downplayed the minority status of Jews in order to uphold intersectional arguments that justify anti-Semitism today.

The intersectional argument is that Jews are white people, and that Jews are disproportionately successful thanks to "white supremacy." Jews are powerful because they are white.So anti-Semitism from non-white supremacists isn't bigotry.

Oh they will condemn Tree of Life attacks by white supremist But antisemitic attacks by non-whites are acceptable

Whoopi has publicly apologized.

She expressed what was in her heart and mind. It is not just her. The intersection justifies the left to support of radical Islamic extremists if their target is Jews.

Her saying Jew hatred is "man's inhumanity to man" is actually a way of obscuring and covering for her own anti-Semitism. Would Whoopi in turn say that the enslavement of Blacks was just man's inhumanity to man?

calling it 'man's inhumanity to man 'is regurgitating platitudes . You can broad brush and call every evil act 'man's inhumanity to man' .It is absolutely meaningless. Every gang banger killing in Chi-town of 8 year old girls can be called 'man's inhumanity to man'.

The Holocaust was the product of Hitler's obsession with the liberal progressive study of eugenics; and his hatred of Jews . .The Holocaust was about race ;as was slavery . Hitler and the Nazi's considered the Jews an inferior race .....not an inferior religion Hitler considered the Jew as a sub-human species . It was not about 2 groups of whites . It was not over the larger undefined intellectually lazy argument about 'man's inhumanity to man' .


On Colbert's show she doubled down and actually said that the Nazi's lied when they called it about race . She said the Nazi's had issues with "ethnicity " .

She made her apology without understanding what she was apologizing about except for the back lash her comment generated .

So, it had nothing to do with man's inhumanity to man? Isn't that the umbrella explanation? Now, how do we permanently consign that umbrella to the attic?

I think everyone would agree with that. That comment alone would not have created a problem. It was when she denied it was racially motivated that she got into trouble. It was just an ignorant comment made by someone who evidently doesn't know her history. I don't really understand why people watch her to begin with.

The big difference is that the left would already boycotting ABC and having demonstrations outside the studio if it was a conservative talking head .Whoopi will take a 2 week vacation in the Bahamas
