i have a 2000 civic ex 1.6l vtec engine i had a 02 sensor code for the downstream sensor i replaced it and the code went away but then we had a rainstorm and my engine sucked in water i drainded the fluids and no major damage was done but i had both heated 02 sensors codes come up i replaced the downstream since it was still under warranty but no codes cleared i was expecting atleast one to clear
