The great majority of democrats voted for Joe Biden who, in a mere nine months, has seen an explosion in illegal immigration (nearly all of whom are unvaxed), continued the placing of children in cages on the southern border, presided over and caused the disaster which occurred in Afghanistan, has seen Covid death and infection rates skyrocket, set records with budget deficits, introduced an infrastructure bill which wasn't really an infrastructure bill, asked us to believe that a 3.5 trillion dollar spending bill will not increase the debt, and has seen the largest growth in inflation in many years.

Nuff said.

The Dem mods ( read less radical lefty ) made a Faustian deal to nominate a Potemkin candidate ;but to have Bolshevik Bernie set the agenda . Suffice it to say that it is two Senators in their ranks holding the line between their normal radical agenda and all out commie .

Manchin is evidently wilting some now under what is no doubt enormous pressure. He is backing off his 1.5 tril spending limit, which is itself ridiculous but at least less ridiculous than 3.5 tril, and has shown a willingness to get somewhere closer to 2.1 tril. I guess it was to be expected. After all, how intimidating must it be to find yourself in opposition to an intellectual giant like AOC? That is especially true now that's she's learning there is a money feeding trough available for U.S. Congresswomen.

Just use Orwellian turns of phrases . "Kids in cages" become "temporary U.S. Customs and Border Protection custody" or migrant children in overflow facilities .
