This fan is still original to the house and has motor noise. 2 fans work off of a remote and have motor noise and the last 1 uses a fan/light dimmer switch and has noise. The noise occurs instantly when the fan is activated, in fact, I hear the noise even before the blades start moving. I don't see how this can be caused by blade/motor vibration. My electrician is stumped. I'm not replacing the fans. Logically, it does not appear to be the fan. Can someone help.
