Like I said .There are thousands of people who's jobs were deemed essential who were not given the choice. I'm sure the clerk in your grocery story has some fears too. You think truckers want to drive in and out of hot spots ? They never stopped . Imagine if they had . You think that shortage of toilet paper was a problem ?
Grocery stores clerks are masked, have plastic shields at the cash register, maintain social distancing. Truck drivers usually drive alone and wear masks when they deliver merchandise. School teachers will wear masks? Students will wear masks? All will social distance? I used to teach school. I see problems ahead.Quote:

Essentials aside (at least the ones that survive and haven't been worked to death), let's talk about all those non essential jobs of which you speak. Local reporting of the phase IV reopening portends possible spikes in NY's future as it's fallen behind 3 other states catching hell right now, so I would give all those new jobs some time before you berate the slow job seekers from responding...if they are indeed qualified for them in the first place.
