    Im 15.I think I'm pregnant
Hey guys, I'm 15 and me and my boyfriend have been having sex for the past year and a half... I think I mightbe pregnant now, because the other day, we didn't have a condom, and I thought it would be fine because we usually use the "withdrawel method"... but the other day he didn't come out in time... I think I might be pregnant now... but I'm so scared... b/c I'm too young to get an abortion, and I don't no what's going to happen to me if my parents find out... I don't no what to do

If you are pregnant, it isn't going to be a matter of what to do "if you parents find out" but "when they find out."

Talk to your mother. She will help you.

You can get pregnant anytime you have sex whether you are using birth control (even a condom). I would suggest not stressing until you have missed your period. If you do miss your period take a HPT with first monring urine and find out one way or another. If the test results come back negative, wait a week or so and then retest. If it is still negative and you still have not gotten your period, go to your doctor and request a blood test. If that shows negative as well, they will look into what else is the problem. You can get an abortion at 15, but will most likely need your parents consent. I strongly urge someone as young as you to be very careful when engaging in sexual relationships, because not only is there a threat of pregnancy, which you are far too young for, but also a threat of developing an STD. Would you really want to go your whole life with that, because you were foolish at a young age? Also pregnancy at such a young age is both dangerous for you and for your baby. I am not trying to terrify you here, I'm just being honest. I had a child young, older than you, but still young, and it was definitely a life changing experience. Good luck, and I suggest talking with your parents. Please remember that any dissapointment or anger is just showing their love and concern for you.

If you last had sex less than 72 hours ago get yourself to a clinic IMMEDIATELY! The so-called morning after pill, although most effective in the first 24 hours after unprotected sex, can work for up to 72 hours (3 days).

Your situation should make you realize that unless you are prepared to be a mother... probably a single mother... then you should not have sex. No birth control is 100% effective other than abstinence. As mentioned by alkalineangel, both you and a baby could be at risk due to being pregnant while you are so young.

I hope you talk to an adult about this. You really need to learn more about birth control, pregnancy and disease.

I hope it all works out for you.

    Hugs, Didi
