    Pretty feet
I have warts and calluses on the bottom of my feet and my heels are very rough. Could it be hereditary since my parents both have this? It still makes me self conscious even though I have a pedicure and from the top you cannot really see the roughness. What can I do to have pretty, soft feet and heels?

Calluses are a build-up of hard skin that occur on the surface under the foot. Calluses are caused by an uneven distribution of weight or improperly-fitting shoes or a skin abnormality. Foot warts are noncancerous skin growths on the soles of your feet caused by the human papillomavirus, which enters your body through tiny cuts and breaks in your skin. They often develop beneath pressure points in your feet, such as the heels or balls of your feet. The virus of wart is transmitted by contact. Some foot problems are inherited or could be the sign of another health condition.

Your foot problems sound severe and may be resistant to over-the-counter treatments. You should see your doctor to ensure that you receive proper treatment.
