We know they pass the law but we are hearing different storys that its happening now and some are saying that they are not starting it in till nexted year I would just like to find out and know ahead of time before we get there and we need a passport.

I'm not sure when the law goes into effect but why not just do the safe thing and go get a passport. Take it with you and if needed you'll have it. I think I read somewhere that they are only about $80.

Currently if you fly there yes you will, you don't need one to drive yet, but it will be needed in the future.
