Cannot access Microsoft Outlook remote email
I cannot get access to my Microsoft Outlook personal e-mail account so that I can view my Inbox from any Web Browser. I can log on to my personal account but cannot read my e-mail or send messages. When I click on a message nothing happens. If I just place the cursor on a email, on the bar at the bottom of the page is this message "javascript:parent.openNewWindow "/exchange/forms/IPM/NOTE/frmRoot.asp"
This has been going on for a couple of months.

Are you referring to Outlook Web Access? It is possible that you are blocking the opening of a new window. Had you installed XP Service Pack 2 when the problem started? Did you install a popup blocker?

I would contact either your company's tech support if it's a work email account or your ISP if it's a personal email account (though I doubt it since they usually do not offer OWA).

    Thanks for the response.
Yes it is Microsoft Outlook Web Access.
Yes it does seem to have happened around that time that I installed XP Service Pack 2, but not absolutely sure, but close anyway.
We have had a pop-up blocker and I was still able to access my email.
You're right it is my work place email account
Initially I contacted the work place IT person and he felt it was a pop up blocker. I disabled the blocker, and I still had the problem. So he said to bring the computer in to work. Well, I thought to myself, its not like popping my keys into my pocket, it is a hasle to pack it up.
So any way that's why I've come to this site, in hopes that I might be able to get some help, I really don't want to break down the computer and take it in.

I would take it in. You should only need to take in the desktop case, IT should have keyboard, mouse and monitor they can use. But since you are trying to interact with a proprietary site, its best to have them work on it.
