I have a leak that is coming from my stack, it runs down the stack into my bathroom where the stack is exposed.
Once the stack goes through the ceiling into the attic it makes a 90 degree turn, runs horizontally for about 10 feet and then makes another 90 degree turn to go out the roof.
During the winter when it was well below freezing there was a big ice build up at the first 90 degree bend. I think that condensation may have built up there and then somehow leaked through the elbow joint.
I am not sure if this is the problem so I would like to get your opinion. Also is okay for a stack to make bends?
