    Businesses headquartered in Illinois
Can anyone give a good source to find out how many businesses are headquartered in Illinois? The catch is the headquartered part. I've been on the US Census Bureau site but there is know way of distinguishing if a business is headquarted there.

I am assuming that you speaking about major businesses.

The following site may be of help to you. I hope that it is. At least it is a start.

Here is the site for the Illinois Chamber of Commerce. It might help to direct your question to them.

    A quote from the link:

"Small to mid-sized businesses are the majority of our membership. Larger companies headquartered in Illinois such as Caterpillar, Deere, Boeing, and State Farm are among our members, too."

    Hi, Tonelius!

It would be better if you posted your question as a new question entirely. Your question here has been posted as an answer to the original question above.
