HI, I had unprotected sex on march 22nd, still had my period march 31rst, did a blood test April 2nd, came out negative, period lasted 3 days , usually I get it for 6 days. Ihave done like some many HPTs and they are all negative. Can I still be pregnant, I been getting nausea and vomitting. Could it be that I am not far enough along to tell on HPT;s and could it be that my blood work was too early, did it 9 days after possible conception.. please help

I don't think you are pregnant, I think you are convincing yourself that you are. You had a period and you had sex was very close to that time. No period is what equals pregnancy... and You wouldn't be experienceing nausea this early on... most of the time it doesn't start until at least 6 weeks (of course every woman is different). Are you currently Trying to conceive? Many times women can actually bring on the symptoms of pregnancy if they really think that they are pregnant, regardless of whether they are medically. I think at this point, based on the info you gave, that you are psychologically pregnant. Believe me, I've been there...

Yeah I know what you mean... I am not convincing myself that I am, I am hoping that I am... I really want another child... with our first child, we did it once and we were pregnant. Not this time... we are trying to conceive , there are other days other than march 22nd that we tried but that was the first this time around... I will be very upset if I can not have any more children all of a sudden...
I guess I'll have to wait and see if my next period comes :0)

No I don´t think you are pregnant. Many things that are happening to you can be caused by your mind. It is possible for the brain to trick the body in thinking that it is pregnant. But having your period, ever a lighter, more shorter one is a very big sign that you are not.

Well don't be too concerned.. it takes normal healthy couples up to a year to conceive... its not an easy game... we've been trying since January.. nothing yet.
