I want to add a second switch to a different ligh on the same power run
I have a switch that power 2 different light . I would like to add a new switch in the middle of the run so that switch 1 would control 1 light and switch 2 control light 2

Is wiring in conduit? If so, a separate wire could be pulled to first light.
If not, a Pull switch to second light? Then switch would light 1 or both?

Without knowing how your house is wired, it is a bit difficult to tell you what to do. However, if #2 comes on the same power line as #1, putting a switch in the middle could control 2 but , when you turn off #1, all the power goes off. Short of opening the wall or ceiling, and adding another hot before #1 switch, there isn't much you can do. Now, if you can get the power to a middle point, the rest would be easy since you would have access for 2 switches. Another solution would be to find an outlet near #2 and pull power to a switch and then #2, disconnecting from the #1 power source.

There is a way you could do with Modules at each light, and have separate switches for each.
