    Takes forever to get hot water in kitchen

    Why? Is your hot water heater to far away? How far is it? Unusual for the kitchen to be further away from the bathrooms, where you have no issues right, but it happens a lot. Or is this an event that is just occurring? Please be as specific as you can be.

    Only solution I can see is if you have a faucet assembly that is mixing some cold water with the hot and therefore prolonging the time it takes to get hot water to the faucet.

    Kitchen faucet draws very little water - so - if your water heater is far away, it takes forever for hot water to arrive at kitchen sink, especially during winter months and when your pipes are under slab

    There are several solutions to it, like installing hot water circulating pump, or, installing small booster ( point-of-use) electric hot water heater under the sink
