    What's going on?
Hi my name is Nikki and I am 22 years old. Me and my soon to be husband have a almost 2 year old son together.. I am not using any birth control what so ever.. So here is what is going on.. My last period was on March 17,07 and I have a 27 to 28 day cycle. So that means I should have started my period on the 13th or 14th of April. Well I am 3-4 days late now.. Ialready took one HPT already and it came out negative I don't know if it is because I took it too early or what.. I have had a problem in the past with not getting positive results on my HPT or even at the doctors office I had this problem when I was pregnant with my son and have to have a sonogram done to find out what was going on.. Just so everyone know I am not under any stress or have gained or lost any weight lately, no new meds and no new excerise routines cause I know that sometimes these can cause a change in your period..

Here are some of the syptoms that I have been having..
Increase in vaginal discharge -very wet, watery ( sorry so graphic) been going on for almost a couple weeks
Abdominal cramps not strong at all but I can feel them they are nothing like the cramps I get when I have my period.
    Eating more than normal
    Using the bathroom more often
Chest is starting to get kind of sore mainly if they get poked

These symptoms are also indicative of PMS. Three days is not considered late in the medical community, even for the most regular woman. However, I will tell you to trust your instincts. If you think you are pregnant, and you feel pregnant, then it is possible. It seems that sometimes our instincts are more reliable than those tests. LOL

You should wait another week or two and maybe test again. If you find that you miss your period completely, please make an appointment with your doc to find out what is going on.
