But I create music using the PC program MTV Music Generator. It's a great and inexpensive program. To date, I've composed 40 titles using the program. You can record and the manipulation of 'riffs' gives you a very professional result. I submitted some of my work to Splendid, an Ezine that reviews music, and got a good review on the same page as some big name musicians. Hope that helps. I bought my copy of MTV Music Generator at Staples.
