Changing from Rudd to Honeywell Thermostat
I am trying to change from a Rudd thermostat and system to a Honeywell RTH 7500 Thermostat. Having problems with the wiring as it does not work properly. The system that I have is a heat pump in the attic with auxiliary heat and an air conditioning system outside. I am not sure if this should be set up as a heat pump multi stage and then the correct wiring. Any help would be appreciated.

I question the wiring as none of the wires were labeled. I have 7 wires so would I use the following: RED to R with the jumper still to Rc, Orange to O, Yellow to Y, Green to G, Blue to C, White to Aux, and Brown to E. The brown wire has me confused .
