Help removed heat strips & heater controls from eubanks electric furnace, trying to wire up transformer & thermostat using a relay the colors of wires on transformer does not match wire diagram on panel of furnace, I hooked up wires to transformer like I thought it should be with red wire going to thermostat problem is I have 24 volts from all wires from thermostat all the time when circuit breaker is closed no matter what position the switches are in nor setting of thermostat. Thank you for your help in advance.

Post complete wiring diagram off furnace so we can see what you have. No way to tell with out wiring diagram.
