Hello plumbers... (I am NOT a plumber)
My toilet (closet?) flange is flush with the floor. It was not leaking but I went to replace toilet and one side of the PVC is all bent to and there's no way I an secure the (new) bowl.
I have read it is supposed to be approx 1/4" above the floor anyways.
Could I used a flange fitting to slip/glue inside the existing flange/is there such an item? The pipe's inside dia is approx 3.75" (so 4" pipe).
It appears, in my un-plumber knowledge, that the original flange was fitted outside (and glued I presume).
I don't have the confidence to replace the flange and I don't have the $ to have a pro do it.
Help please?
:(
