I don't really fully understand your question but would it be accurate to say this female you are interested in is close to another guy she says is her brother, or LIKE a brother to her? Different last names can happen between siblings if they have for example different fathers, but the same mother, that makes them half siblings and it's not unusual at all to know and be close with someone and be like brother and sister.

So is this just curiosity, or are you getting into her business because you have intentions depending on her relationship with another fellow? Please clarify.

What's wrong with actually finding someone local you can see in person when you want? Stop messing around with people that think incest is a cool thing (might not be that but sounds like it could be). No matter WHERE you live.. there are people near you that you can develop an actual relationship with... not some semi-interactive internet fantasy that parades as a "relationship".
