Full Custody and Child Support .very confused
Hello I'm a new single mom ,and I need some advice on how I go about getting full custody of my three year old son.His father is not helping me at all when it comes to expenses and he doesn't care to see him or wants anything to do with him. I want to file for Child support but I am afraid that I have to have full custody of my son first.Like I said before I am new to all of this and I need to know what I can do to make sure that I have legal guardian ship rights to my son.I don't want to be afraid that one day his father will change his mind ,and take him away and it just being okay because I never did anything about it.I have the child support papers to fill out but I don't want to fill them out if its not going to get me anywhere. Please help me with any advice that you have.

    Thank you

No, you file for all of it at the same time, you go to court for custody, to set up his visitation and to arrange child support.

Go to a public aid office and they can help you for free you have an excellent case if he does not see him or pay for anything already. Good luck.
