    Tiling around an arch?
The wall between our kitchen and living room has a 34" wide x 28" high opening with an arch at the top. I would like to tile both the wall around the opening as well as the inside of the opening. How do I finish off where the tile edges come together around the arch? I can use bull nose tile on the square corners but the radius has me stumped
    Thanks!

Do your flat walls first, cutting the tile to fit the radius. Then use finished edged tiles on the arch. You will probably have to cut the tiles narrower so they can "curve" around the arch. Good Luck !

wags got it- it's the only way. Use 2 bullnose back to back for the underside of the arch. You may want to rip them so they are of equal size. When installing the wall tile - I like to let the tiles hang over the arch. I let them set up and then come back with a grinder to cut the arch. It allows for a more even cut than trying to cut a radius on eack individual tile. Its very time consuming- be patient and make sure you have some blue tape to support your work- good luck!!
