Shortly after noon today, Trump denied having recorded tapes of his conversation with FBI Direcor James Comey after previously threatening Comey with such tapes. Trump is believed to have destroyed the tapes or hidden them.

The US Army is expected to serve a search warrant later today at the White House in an attempt to find the missing tapes. Anonymous officials at the WH have suggested looking under the presidential bed.

Trump has been perp-walked in cuffs out of the WH on his way to the local lock-up where he awaits arraignment.

President-by-acclamation Pelosi has stated she will treat the ex-president with kindness and compassion in light of his obesity and growing senile dementia. He is expected to serve his time at Club Fed Prison in Miami, formerly known as Mar-a-lago.
