    Lav drain angle to wall?
New lav -want to put it 6 feet away from old location-How much slope do I need to the wall drain outlet? To put it another way- how far above the wall outlet does the outlet from the trap have to be? Thanks

I think it is 3'' in a 100', which would only be 3/16''. Anther way is to carefully buy DWV elbows. They are not complete 90 degrees, but just the right angle to give enough slope. More importantly, they have longer, smoother bends reducing the tendency to clog. You do plan to keep the trap near the sink?

1/8 to 1/4" drop to the foot is normal,( 1/8 is just cracking the bubble on your level). On a 6' run you would raise 3/4" with 1/8" and 1 1/2" using 1/4"
    .
    Good luck, Tom
