I need to run a sewer line from a new building behind my house and we need to connect to the drainage of my house I need to know where to get a printout of my property
If you have the original blueprints you may have that information drawn in there. Otherwise, you will have to locate your sewer pipe yourself. City doesn't keep record of locations of sewer pipes on private properties.
1. Go to the City / Building Department, find location of sewer latteral for your property. Then find clean out in front of your house. Connect those two points in straight line. That's where your sewer pipe most likely is located
2. Call pipe locator service man. He will locate your sewer pipe with specialty equipment designed to do just that. There is a cost associated with this service, but, it may be the easiest way of locating your sewer
Hope that helps
