    Is it one of those "senior" side entrance tub with door ?

    If so, than than the standard spacing for faucet and hand-held is 4" on center. You can go further apart if you have the space, however, do not go closer than 4".

    Drill 1 1/4" holes for Spout, Hot & Cold water stems and hand-held. Install faucet BEFORE you set the tub.
