I never had much luck with plants, but would like to try again.

Live in Florida. Have normal house lights and open porch.

What direction do the wndows face in the room(s) where you want to keep the plants?

Open porch with no direct sun lends itself well to hanging boston ferns; very attractive with minimal work but they love to be kept moist and no dry out. Mine come indoors during the winter months in Ontario, Canada.
