I am trying to track down a film, I can't remember what actors are in it and can't remember much detail. I don't believe it was a big/popular film. It had a lifetime/hallmark vibe to it and I think it was set near a beach/in a beach-side neighbourhood. It would be a 90's film possibly late 80's.

The film is basically centred on two women, one woman is married and they end up in a romantic relationship.

Towards the start of the film they swap pants out the front of the house for some reason. I believe the film ends with one of the women getting on a ferry and they don't see each other again. Literally that is all the detail I can remember.

Any ideas?
