    Noisy Tub Spout
    Hello!

I have two bathtubs that have very noisy spouts. The spouts are non diverter Delta RP5833. With both tubs, when the water is sent to the shower head the noise is much, much quieter. I thought water hitting the tub's surface may be the problem. Using my hand I caused it to run down the side of the tub. Same noise. Messing with the diverter (it is not in the spout) I could determine that the less water flow through the spout the less noise.

I tried to Google quiet tub spouts and could find nothing. Any ideas?

" non diverter " and then you said "Messing with the diverter" so I am confused. Which is it, ypou must have a diverter if its also a shower.
