See if they can order what you want at Home Depot.
Where exactly does this plug go? Are you trying to block cold water from going through the faucet?
Is it the Cold / Hot water identifier, on top of handle ?

Yes, rereading it sounds like the identifier of hot / cold.
A handle insert button can be ordered from the manufacturer on line or by phone via tech support...
I agree with Mike45plus: get it on line or call them. If you call them, they may even send it to you free of charge
