It's a (FORUS® Digital Voice Recorder Pro)( Model# Fsv-1000) USB connect

All spelling is correct

Is there a program that will let me access the files? Like a standard memory driver?

I have the same problem as iceman_22male. I can not find the drivers for this.

The cd is "dvr manager" voice recorder. Ver.dvr-008. Can you play the files?

I found a way in order to solve the problem.
In the BIOS change the date to one year before and than everything works properly.
It works for me after I tried many different options.

I am still having a driver problem with this device! I have the driver CD, but it just would not install. I am using Vista OS. What should I do?

Have you checked to see if vista still allows for setting programs to other windows compatibility? I do not use vista with my recorder, sorry. I will see what I can think of over the next few days as well! I take it - you found the original (actual CD) or did you get a copy off the net, just curious as it may be corrupt if not from the actual CD - just a thought - I have an (Original CD) mini.

The CD I have came with the recorder. It works for my other laptop which operates on Windows XP, but installing in Vista gives me the error that it cannot find the file in INF. Now I have no idea what that means!

I[F] I can't believe no one has a solution to this problem. With Vista, my FS-008 doesn't even load the player/editor correctly. The volume doesn't work and selecting the editor freezes everything.
They are still selling this recorder on the net and every desktop and laptop puter
Coming out now has that POS Vista on it. I bought the new computer just so I could use more sophisticated audio software and now its useless without even being able to properly play the files. I'll keep looking on the net I guess... I already emailed forus at several different addys and no reply.

Try this site which provides links to Forus software and FAQs. Using the "Reinstall USB drivers" applet solved the problem for me. HTH.

I need help as well. I wasted a 140 bucks on this thing and need the Dr I recorded off it ASAP.. I was told this was the best recorder available.. poo it does not even have the USB cable with it... anyone that can help would appreciate it. Thinking of buying another digital recorder and copy to it.
