A book of poetry that I wrote years ago... I decided to have it put into a book form. I hired an Executive Secretary to retype it all on HER Mac computer (Word 2016) and convert it to PDF to send to the publisher co.
When I viewed the edited completed document in PDF form on MY computer (Dell computer, Word 2016), it looked PERFECT. So she sent it to the Publisher. When the publisher sent it to me in PDF form to authorize to print it... the entire thing was TOTALLY DISTORTED ! Poetry phrases had been split up; dates of them were appearing at the top of another page... it was a disaster! Can anyone figure out what happened here. My Secty said she will try to fix it, but I thought I would ask anyway. I have already paid everyone and still I have no book. Any info is appreciated.
She turned it into PDF from MY computer not hers... and sent to publisher. Thank You.
