How to wire a table lamp that has two bulbs, two switches, one power supply
I'm building a table lamp that will have two bulbs. Each bulb will have its own switch (keyed socket), but the lamp will have just one power source (plug). What's the best way to wire my lamp? Thank you for your help.

Pigtail 2 black and 2 white wires to the respective supply wires. On a 2 wire zip cord, the ribbed wire is neutral, white. Black pigtails go to the gold screws, white to the silver screws on the light switch.

You could use 1 switch The one that lights bulb 1, second position does bulb 2, 3rd position does bulbs 1 & 2.
    4th Position is Off.
