There is a girl I like in school and I don't know how she feels about me. She always said that I'm a gentleman and I'm one of the best guys that she ever known, but the problem is that she flirts with everyone in front of me but she don't flirt with me, and once when we were alone together she started to smile at me and asked me if we can take a pic together {she don't take pic with boys } and she changed the way she reacts like she was shy or something but I don't feel that she was shy because she feel comfortable when there is other students, and talk to them all but she don't talk to me , and I started to feel that she avoiding me or something.

When I text her she take too long to replay and I asked her why she said that she is busy from studying and family and everybody texting her and she don't have time to replay to everyone and then she apologize to me... she don't look me in the eye... and now there is a long holiday. What should I do [do I text her or wait her to text me ]? Does she like me? And why she act like that? And do girls have too much pride like I must start everything? And please please what to do?

Here's how it goes, over days and weeks: two people smile. say hi. say a little more, but nothing too personal. say something personal, but nice, like 'I like that blouse.' Pause longer in the hall or after class. Pause even longer, talking longer. Oh, she's flirting with others? Stand there with a tiny smile and wait just an extra minute, then raise your eyebrows and leave. (to let her know that you aren't going to play that game of jealousy)

She LIKES you! Take those little steps that you haven't taken already, and plunge in. What, you want a guarantee? There are NONE. EVER. We all take chances in love.

It isn't about pride. It's about the delicate art of being a girl in the modern world, where forward girls are still perceived as too easy. Boys do have to appear to be making the first move. Really she has done so already/

She is most likley wondering the same thing. You can wonder for the next 40 years as a old man. Or you text her (I hate texting) or just talk to her. Ask her out, ask her to go or do something together.

I don't know how old you both are, but obviously it is you that have the question and need to ACT to find the answers. It's as simply as asking her what you want to know so don't complicate it by your own inexperience, insecurity, or fear.

Maybe it does have something to do with your ages, so how old are you both?

You either learn to honestly express yourself to get to the truth of the matter, or leave her alone, and not become annoying. You may be wrong about her feelings, but you will never know for sure, unless you can be a lot more direct about your motives, and intentions than you have been.

I disagree with your assumption she is ignoring you for no reason, since there is always a reason one person ignores another, and it would be better to find out what it is by DIRECT conversation.

Better to be rejected, than live in false hope of getting more from her than friendship right? At least then you can get over it and move beyond it if that's the case. LOL, its probably more going on in her life right now with family, and holidays plans, and she doesn't have time for much else. Probably better if you just wait for school to start back if you are on holiday breaks.
