We have a Braeburn Model 3100 thermostat that is flashing off even though it is in the on position. We had a short power outage yesterday and since then I cannot get the furnace to turn on. It is flashing which is normally does not do when it is in the off position. It is set on heat and in the auto position. Is there some way to reset it?

Try disconnecting power to the thermostat. If that does not work the thermostat might have been damaged by a surge during the outage. Naturally I am sure you cheched the batterys ETc?
