I had bought the latest nfs carbon
But I doesn't works,when on starting just shows a black screen for a sec. and then returns to desktop without any error
My config are
512 ram
p4 ht
120 hdd

81845gv gigabyte motherboard

Look at the virtual memory
Or mabye your graphics are too low
Make sure to check the back for all the requirements

Also make sure you have the latest directx installed and the game might have a separate settings program that can be launched from the start menu

All my requirements are fullfied in the easy info program

All right have you turned off your firewall and virus software when playing the game.
Just remember to turn it back on when you go onto the internet

I should say that is either you game either your PS2 (or XBOX) but if other games works , you should look at the back of the disc and if there is lots of scratches , you game can't play properly

Hey there:p... feeling nice to answer this question... well mate... ur card is glva 845... which doesn't support pixel shader 1.3... h/w tnl... and vertex shader... mine is also an 845 orthodox... :mad: :(

YOU CAN NEVER PLAY THIS GAME:rolleyes:... HEY WAIT... do one thing:p...

STEP1:- download 3d analyze 2.26... do not download the latest version... they have some glich...

STEP2:- well install 3d analyzer

STEP3:- you will see some numbers written in the left of the window of the 3d analyzer software... chose 1 and select the carbon exe file...

STEP4:- under the Hardware limit(caps box),. check emulate HW TnL... and the very next check box...

STEP5:- then under the pixel and vertex shader... check the "skip pixel shader version 1.4"

STEP6:- then go to no 4 written on the left... and click RUN...


What is 3d analyser

It is a software just like the emulators you must have used to play games like the ROAD RASH JAIL BREAK... we needed the emulator for road rash jail break 'cause we wanted to run it in XP since it can't be run in XP... its meant for 98... so we need 3d analyzer(emulator) for emulating the hardware configuration that is not present in our PC... its that simple


IF PROBLEM still OCCURS!!


Then keep on checking and unchecking the relevant check-boxes... and try to run it... it will surely work...

And remember AN EMULATOR NEVER FAILS

Well 3d analyze is alone not the saviour. You can also use swift shader to emulate 2.0 pixel shader support which will be sufficient for carbon.
I am a new member
