The past 2 years I've used HR block & Jackson Hewlett, I'd like to try a less expensive alternative. They both filed my return as 1040NR at similar fees of $250+.
Does Turbo tax support 1040NR?

To the best of my knowledge Turbo Tax still does not support 1040NR filing.

A lot of tax preparers don't know the international tax process very well. The fees you quote seem rather high for a basic 1040NR unless you have some very complex issues.
