Running water lines to new construction
We are going to be building a home on 10 acres in Lindale, Ga. Can anyone tell me how much approximately it will cost to run main water line/lines 1000' feet to home site.

The most accurate construction costs will come from local vendors/contractors, and you should seek the top 3 of them at least for estimates. Not only can you get an estimate, but can ask questions like an INTERVIEW in person, and can compare before you make a decision.

Prices changes from location to location. As advised above, call several local contractors and have them to bid the job. That will give you a price range for such work in your area. Ask lots of questions, then make a decision who to hire.

Good luck with your project !

    Dcomm,
I suggest defining your design criteria before putting this out to bid. Your municipalities engineering dept will help you determine pipe size, and, the water authority may require certain piping types, meter vault, coupling vaults, minimum trench depth, etc. You should also consider fire protection; you may need additional water for a hydrant, fire sprinklers and irrigation. If you provide a detailed and comprehensive scope of work, it will help you and the bidders...
