Electrical output on genset welder 3ph
Hi , I have a genset 300 amp engine driven welder which has 110v 220 v and 3phase sockets . The welder itself has stopped workng but still has these aux supply working . I see two sets of output wires from the generator and the smaller set is for the sockets and the larger for the welder , across the weld wires supply I'm getting 36 vac and they are goimg on to large back plane and each one seems rto have a large diode to rectify , after that I'm only getting 3 or 4 volts dc . Would one of these diodes be able to pull down the voltsge ?
    Many thanks
    Al

Al, can you post any pictures of the backplane and supply generator? Include diodes.

Also any model numbers you find.
