    Friend's behavior
A year ago my best girl friend relocated to another state; left her job, purchased a home; all to be closer to her only daughter.
When she left she vowed we would continue to be "in touch" and continue to be friends and when she was in my area come to visit, etc. etc.
Last April she told me she was leaving for a vacation to another country for few days and thereafter I heard nothing else from her. Every time she went on vacation she always forwarded me photos, etc. This time I got nothing. That in itself I thought odd. So I waited until mid August and mailed her in the normal mail a long letter and photos of myself with another friend out having lunch and good time. Never got a reply.
I am afraid to try to call her; that she might not take the call.
Also, fear something has happened with her.
    Am very puzzled about this.
Any thoughts from anyone on this is appreciated.
    Thanks

Try calling. If you get no response call the police and have a well check done. This sounds highly unusual. Can you get ahold of the daughter?

Maybe she found new friends and just moved on or is busy with life?

No need too assume the worst and act on it, since you just don't know. Instead be patient as its far more likely she has been consumed by adjusting to her new life, and might be having big fun with it.

A phone call is not out of line though. Just don't panic for no concrete reason.
