My Kenmore portable dishwasher model 665.17749K015 clean light blinks 7 times stops and starts again.
I have replaced the heating element and it still blinks.
I can push the cancel button and it makes a grinding sound and I think I hear a faint sound of water like its trying to work. I have tried the sequence of heated dry normal wash to get a test cycle but the lights only light up when I push buttons but that's it.
FYI I replaced heating element in May ( I assume touching it with bare hands has led to premature fail according to what I have read about oil from hands) and before that replaced 2 bi metal fuses.
Should I recheck bi metal fuse again when it went out last time the whole panel was dead except blinking clean light.
What should I check next?
